Elaine M. Waterman
1956-2010
AGAWAM – Elaine M. (Fish) Waterman passed over on November 17, 2010. She is finally at peace with God and her mother after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Theodore Waterman, a daughter Jenny Lynn Weber and her husband John Paul and their daughter Lilli-Anna, a son Jake Waterman, her father Benjamin Fish Jr., and sisters Deborah Senk and family, and Cynthia Fish and family, as well as many nephews, nieces, sister-in-laws and brother-in-laws. Elaine taught pre-school for many years at Valley Community Day Care as well as being their cook. She also worked for the Town of West Springfield School Department as a food service worker. For the last two years her most important roll was that of Gum-Gum, grandmother to Lilli-Anna who made the sun shine in her life. Elaine's love for her family was boundless. She loved the beach and lying in the sun. But most of all she loved taking care of all those she loved. Elaine will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations would be greatly appreciated to help defer medical costs at any TD Bank to the Elaine Waterman Fund. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. The West Springfield Curran-Jones has been entrusted with the arrangements.
