WEST SPRINGFIELD – Eleanor M. Casey, 93, of Monastery Avenue and formerly of Worcester Street died Thursday August 11, 2011 at Baystate Medical Center. Eleanor was born in West Springfield, graduated from Cathedral High School and has lived in West Springfield her entire life. She worked as an executive secretary for the former Westinghouse Corporation in East Springfield and later American Saw in East Longmeadow. After her retirement she volunteered at Mercy Hospital for many years. She leaves her sister Mary (Casey) Purchase of Greensboro, N.C. A graveside service will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery Wednesday at 12:30pm. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
