Eleanor M. Newbrough

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Eleanor M. (Derry) Newbrough, 83, died Friday in Mercy Hospital. Eleanor was born in Montpelier, VT the daughter of Edward and Zetta (Chase) Derry and has lived in West Springfield since 1953. She was a retired bookkeeper for the former Yale-Genton. Eleanor leaves her husband of 62 years Raymond E. Newbrough; two sons Mark of West Springfield and Bruce of Pittsburgh; three daughter Elaine Davis, Carol Vincent and Brenda Rudy all of West Springfield; twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren. A private service will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery.
