Elijah G. Quinn, 46 passed away suddenly at home on Thursday. Elijah was born in Springfield, MA, and graduated from East Longmeadow High school in 1990. For decades, Elijah worked at Fly By Night Futon in Northampton, MA where he worked with his best friend Paul. He was an avid adventurer, enjoyed spending time with his friends and family and loved to be entertained by his favorite movies and television shows. Elijah was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed exchanging Irish gifts with his mother. Elijah leaves his parents Doreen Rixford and Daniel Quinn, originally from Springfield and brother Brendan Reed of East Longmeadow. Elijah also leaves uncles, aunts, cousins and dear friends of whom he was extremely proud of and loved. Elijah joins his late grandparents Rita and David Rixford who loved him dearly. The funeral will be held on Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:30am. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Curran Jones Funeral Home in West Springfield.
