WEST SPRINGFIELD-Elisabeth R. Bengston, 90, died Sunday at home. She was born in Holyoke and has lived in West Springfield all her life. She worked at the Springfield Armory for 32 years as a procurement assistant for the US Army. She retired in 1973. She was a 76 year member of the First Congregational Church. She leaves her brother N. Peter Bengston and his wife Fay of St. Petersburg, FL and several nieces and a nephew. She was predeceased by her aunts Ruth Bengston and Esther Brown. The memorial service will be Friday at 11 am at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in South Hadley in the spring. A calling hour will precede the memorial service on Friday from 10 to 11 am. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
