Elizabeth J. Albano

WEST SPRIINGFIELD – Elizabeth J. (LaPierre) Albano, 81, died Tuesday in Baystate Medical Center.  Betty was born and raised in Springfield and moved to West Springfield in 1976.  She was a 25-year employee at West Side Auto Body and worked at the former Coliseum Banquet Hall for many years.  Her husband Anthony Albano died in 2008.  She leaves many nieces, great nieces, nephews and great nephews.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 12:30pm followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  Donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
