SPRINGFIELD – Elizabeth (Rivera) Gonzalez, 44, of Chicopee, died Thursday in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico, the daughter of Jose A. and Anicasia Rivera and has lived in Springfield most of her life. She worked as a secretary at Oak Grove Cemetery. Besides her parents she leaves a daughter Aisha and her siblings Jamie, Angel, Toni Sr, Luis, Mary (Lucy), Toni Lind, 12 nephews, 4 nieces, and a great-nephew. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday from 4:00 – 7:00pm with a service beginning at 6:30pm. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
