Elizabeth M. (Fisher) Kopy, 87, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 10, 2025. Born in Northampton, daughter of the late George and Helen (Brown) Fisher, she grew up in Westfield and was a graduate of Westfield High School. Betty worked as a cook at The Kids Place for many years, after working at Strathmore Paper Company. She was an active member of Feeding Hills Congregational Church, where she spent time as a Sunday School teacher and was a founding member of Operation Friendship. She leaves her husband of 56 years, George A. Kopy, Sr., her son David Gary Kopy, three daughters Katheryn Aguila, Tammy Fontaine and Laura Harrington. She also leaves behind many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and many beloved friends and family. Betty leaves behind a legacy of laughter, kindness and love for all. All services are private and the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
