Obituary

Elizabeth A. "Betty" "Cookie" (Krzykowski) VanDyke, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hamilton, Bermuda, daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Drewnowski) Krzykowski, she was a lifelong resident of Feeding Hills. She was a retired machine operator for Milton Bradley and also worked for Lauren Sports Wear. Betty was a member of the Agawam Senior Center and enjoyed gardening, knitting, reading and playing mahjong. She had attended Sacred Heart Church. Betty's family wants to say a special thanks to her therapist, Anna Gijzen and to Dr. Masih Farooqui. She leaves a son and his companion, James F. VanDyke and Nancy Muchmore of Feeding Hills, a brother, Charles Krzykowski of Southwick, a sister and her husband, Cathie and Richard Dunn of Summerfield, FL, a sister-in-law, Doris Krzykowski of Southwick, her longtime friend, Barbara Rokosz of Westfield and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Anthony Krzykowski and John Krzykowski. The funeral will Friday at 10am at the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday from 4-7pm.
