Ella E. Auclair

1929 – 2017

WEST SPRINGFIELD - Ella E. (Perusse) Auclair, 88, formerly of Plateau Avenue, died Tuesday surrounded by her loving family.  Ella was born in Agawam and has lived in West Springfield all her life.  Ella always welcomed everyone into her home and loved to cook, sew and shop for her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.   Her husband Louis Auclair died in 1999 and a daughter, Linda L. Douglas died in 2001.  She leaves four daughters, Deborah Drugan, Judith M. Durant, Sandra L. Coulter and Karen L. Foley, a son Andrew L. Auclair, a brother, three sisters, ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the WEST SPRINGFIELD CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME Monday at Noon followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home Monday from 11:00am - Noon.  Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. St. Vincent, 35 Holy Family Road, Holyoke 01040.
