Ellen M. Pechulis

Palm Beach Gardens, FL – Ellen M. (White) Pechulis, 80 formerly of West Springfield died unexpectedly in Florida on October 21st. Ellen was born in Springfield to the late James and Julia (Hannifin) White. She had a long career as an Administrative Assistant with United Technologies in Springfield, MA and with Pratt & Whitney of West Palm Beach FL before retiring in 1998. Ellen or "Mimi" as she was affectionately known – had a wonderful sense of humor and an infamous zest for life. She got along with everyone she met and lit up a room not only with her beauty but with her infectious personality and wit. She loved spending time with her family and friends especially during the summer at Sun Valley Beach Club in Stafford Springs, CT. Ellen is survived by her longtime partner Donald Vedder and his son Danny of Palm Beach Gardens. Ellen leaves her children Michael Pechulis and his wife Ann; Lynn Kelleher; Jeffrey Pechulis and his wife Lesli; six grandchildren – Patrick and Sean Kelleher and his fiancé Ali Ross, Ashlee, Zachary, Nicole and Max Pechulis; a sister Patricia Clark, her husband Frederic, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends including her beloved dog Joey. She was pre-deceased by a sister Maureen Kelliher.  Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home on Saturday November 3 ^rd from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
