Emilia M. Bertelli

CHICOPEE-Emilia M. Bertelli, 100, died Saturday in Mercy Medical Center. She was born and grew up in West Springfield before moving to Chicopee in 1980. She retired from Springfield Wire in 1975. Emilia was an avid traveler, reader and baker who loved her crafts, knitting and crocheting. She leaves a nephew Richard Gulluni and his wife Donna of Hampden, a niece Helen Wojcieszynski of Indian Orchard and a cousin Rose Mary Carlo, her husband Russ and their family of Rocky Hill, CT. The funeral will be Wednesday at 1pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
