A life that both began and ended on August 4th – Emily Ann Dubois' journey encompassed the poetic beauty of a single day. From her birth in 1982 to her departure in 2023, she wove a story that spoke of love, struggle, and kindness.

Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, Emily moved to Agawam in her early years, where she found her second home. She graduated from Agawam High School with the class of 2000 and continued her education by earning a degree from Springfield Technical Community College.

Even as she grappled with her own challenges, Emily's heart never wavered in its capacity for compassion. Her love for animals and her gift of writing stemmed from an empathetic heart. Her kindness was a steadfast beacon that touched those around her. In the midst of her struggles, she still found moments to extend her hand in friendship and offer solace to others navigating their own trials. Her innate ability to understand the pain of others, perhaps born from her own journey, created connections that spoke volumes about her character.

In Heaven, Emily is reunited with her mother, Debra (Bissonnette) Dubois, finding the peace that eluded her on Earth. She is survived by her loving father, Philip Dubois; her sisters Jennifer Dubois and Jessica Dubois-Struck; her brother Philip Dubois; and her nephew Ryder Dearing.
