Erline F. Ledoux

1927 – 2017

SOUTH HADLEY – Erline F. (Mayer) Ledoux, 90, died at Wingate of West Springfield on September 24 ^th surrounded by her loving family.  Erline was born and raised in Holyoke and has lived in South Hadley since 1945.  She worked at the Odyssey Bookstore in South Hadley for many years and was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church.  She was predeceased by her husband Joseph T.C. Ledoux who died in 2000, a son, Robert who died in 2016 and a sister Marjorie Wagner who died in 1992.  She leaves her sons and their spouses, Don and Jan, Ken and Mary Ellen, Mary Ledoux, wife of Robert, and Bryan and Jen.  She also leaves her Sister-in-law Jeannine and Eugene Banville, Brother-in-law George Wagner, nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren and many beloved nieces and nephews.  The funeral will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley Friday, Sept. 29 ^th at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. Theresa's Church at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Rose Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  The family would like to extend a heartfelt "THANK YOU", to the entire staff at Wingate of West Springfield for the LOVE and KINDNESS they showered on Erline and her family.  She loved each and every one of you.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
