Errol Lee Holloway, 87, died on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at home surrounded by his loving family. Errol was born in Chicago, IL, on December 31, 1938, son of the late Albert and Anna (Beder) Holloway. He started eking out a living at age five selling newspapers on the Chicago street corners. It was then that his work ethic began. Errol cut his high school career short to enlist in the army and was a dedicated serviceman to his country for twenty-three years and felt such a love for his country to reenlist during Dessert Storm. He also worked for the United States Postal Service for twenty-three years and for forty-five years at the Eastern States Exposition. His military career, the love of his country, and the Big E were his absolute passions. Errol was also known for his love of fixing cars, especially his 57 Chevy, watching football, Fox News, collecting coins, traveling by train or 57 to Wisconsin to visit his neice, and Friday nights with his friends at the Tatham Social Club. Errol was predeceased by his wife, Sandra J. (Moulton) Holloway, a son Tod Holloway, a daughter-in-law, Lisa Holloway and his loving chocolate labrador, Chipper. He is survived by his daughter and her husband, Kellie and David Popp of Agawam, a son and his wife, Scott and Tracy Holloway of West Springfield, a daughter-in-law, Kari Holloway of Agawam, a son, Terry Holloway of Agawam, a daughter Jennifer Holloway of West Springfield, his grandchildren, Justin, Lissa, Samantha, Tod Jr., Giavanna, Aiden, four great-grandchildren with two on the way. Calling hours are Wednesday, September 16, 2026 from 3-7 at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street. The funeral is Thursday, September 17, 2026 at 10:30am at Red Oak Church, 337 Piper Road, West Springfield, followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
