Asbury Park, NJ – Eugene J. McCreanor, 85, formerly of Agawam died Tuesday in New Jersey. Eugene was born in Springfield, lived in New York most of his life before moving to New Jersey. He was a retired Cleaning Supervisor for the Arcade Cleaning Company and served in the United States Army from 1946 until his discharge in 1947. Eugene was predeceased by his wife Mary (Grassetti) McCreanor and leaves a son Lawrence McCreanor of Wall, NJ and two grandchildren Caitlin McCreanor-Bermingham and Joseph McCreanor. The funeral will be Thursday at 10am at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street with burial in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday 4-7pm.
