Eva Jack, 78, entered into eternal rest on Friday, May 29, 2026 in Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Germany, daughter of the late Richard and Erna (Wysske) Wedemeyer, she came to the United States in 1954 through Ellis Island.  She lived in upstate New York and then her family moved to Chicopee where she was a 1966 graduate of Chicopee High School.  After marrying she moved to Agawam in 1973.  Eva had worked at the former Sherman Furniture in Chicopee, for her father at the former Dick's Camera Repair in Chicopee and then for Peter Pan Bus Lines.  She loved watching soccer, was a member of the Agawam Junior Women's Club, and the Springfield Turnverein, where she was a member of their Ladies Auxiliary and on many bowling leagues, including the Monday Night Mix-ups.  She leaves her husband of fifty-five years, Lloyd E. Jack, a son and his wife, Eric A. and Tina Jack of Feeding Hills, a daughter and her husband, Christine L. and Joshua Wright of Woodstock, CT, two brothers and their wives, Rusty and Sandra Wedemeyer of Sedalia, MO, Juergan and Donna Wedemeyer of Chicopee, two grandsons, Brendan and Zachary Wright and nieces and nephews. The funeral will be Tuesday at 10am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street with a private burial. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm.
