WEST HARTFORD, CT – Evelyn (Heine) Moonan, 89, formerly of Shadow Lane died Sunday in a local nursing home. Evelyn was born in New Brittan, CT, the daughter of Rudolf and Angela (Deutsch) Heine. She was the past owner of Partner's Restaurant in Manchester, CT and also served as the Maitre de' for many years at the Hawthorne Inn in Berlin, CT and Cavey's Restaurant in Manchester, CT. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond Moonan and a daughter Judith Corporan. She leaves two sons Richard Bennett of Agawam and Jeffery Bennett of Long Pond, PA; a brother Alfred Heine; four sisters Elsie Murphy, Margaret Saunders, Mildred Fitch and Elenor Colocray. She also leaves nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday at 10:00am followed by Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills, at 11:00am. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral on Wednesday from 10:00 – 10:30am. A private burial will take place in St. James Cemetery in Manchester, CT.
