Evelyn J. (Morpeth) Morawski, 98, entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 16, 2022 in Mercy Medical. Born in Union, New Jersey on May 22, 1924, daughter of the late Aln and Viva (Goodnow) Morpeth, she lived in Agawam for over seventy years.   She was employed by Walter Whittum Printing Company formerly in Springfield Mass., and Lucia Lumber Company in Agawam as a bookkeeper. She was the former vice-president of the Agawam Women's Club, a member of the Agawam Senior Center, and enjoyed knitting and reading. She was a wonderful hostess and cook, and enjoyed entertaining her friends and family right up until the last few weeks of her life.  She is predeceased by her husband, Raymond S. Morawski, who died in 1999.  She leaves a son, Stephen H. Morawski of Russell and his wife Susan, a daughter, Joanne C. Thomas of Westmoreland New Hampshire, and two grandchildren, Benjamin J. Thomas and his wife Caitlin Cribbs of College Park Maryland, and Aaron S. Thomas of Cropseyville, New York.  The funeral will be Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2022 at 11am at the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery.
