Obituary

Dr. Filomena Rosanna Larocca-Strobel, 52, of Fort Myers, Florida passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 28, 2019. Mina was born and raised in Feeding Hills. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Springfield College and Doctorate from New York Chiropractic College. Mina had a thriving Chiropractic business for over 20 years in West Springfield. She was passionate about teaching and healing people through chiropractic and natural medicine. Mina was a very active person spending free time partaking in exercising and yoga classes, playing golf, fishing, and was a fierce competitor in board and card games with her nieces and nephews. She loved to travel, entertain and enjoyed the beach. Mina also cherished her time with family and friends.
Mina is survived by her loving husband of 13 years Raymond Strobel, stepson Raymond Strobel II of West Springfield; parents Raffaele and Teresina Larocca of Ft. Myers Beach, Florida; sisters and brother in laws: Donna and Richard Kana of Clinton, Connectictu, Teresa and Matthew Alaimo of Westbrook, Connecticut, brother Ralph Larocca of Tolland, Connecticut; Nieces and Nephews: Nicholas Alaimo, Christopher Alaimo, Nicole Kana, Shelby Kana, Jared Larocca, Joseph Larocca, James Larocca and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 17 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street.
