Florence Davidson
1925 – 2019

GRANBY – Florence (Krajewski) Davidson, 93, died peacefully Thursday in Cooley Dickinson Hospital. Florence was born and raised in Holyoke and moved to Granby in 1968. She was a secretary for many years and retired in 1992 after 18 years with the Superintendent of Schools for the Town of Hadley. She was a longtime communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and volunteered at the Senior Center in Granby. Florence loved to travel, take care of her birds and was a Ballroom dance instructor for the Arthur Murray Dance Studios for many years. She leaves a son Paul C. Davidson; two grandchildren Jeremy A. Davidson and Laura McFarlane and seven great grandchildren. Sadly, she was predeceased by a daughter Kathleen J. Davidson in 1980 and an infant son. Visiting hours will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley on Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 4:00 – 7:00pm with a funeral service to be held at a later date.
