SPRINGFIELD – Florence Shirley Jianaces, 78, quietly passed away

Wednesday evening from a broken heart surrounded by her loving family. Florence was born in West Springfield in her family home on West School Street and has remained in the Springfield area most of her life. She and her husband did spend some time in Ocala, FL while raising their family.  Florence was predeceased by the love of her life, Robert of 57 years in 2017 and her granddaughter Misty in 2014. She leaves her four children; Debra Gosselin and husband Ronald, Brenda Casseles and husband Robert III, James Sr. and his wife Yvonne, and Rhonda Jianaces. She also leaves seven grandchildren Christopher, Julie, James Jr., Robert IV, Anthony, Shelby, Jonathan and eight great grandchildren, Scottie, Legacy, Malcolm, Rilynn, Gavin, James, Callen and Daisy as well as three sisters Jeannette Fuller, Mary Mason and Violet Pettit. Florence's love for her husband, children and grandchildren was evident in the photos that lined her walls. She loved crafts, gardening and spending time with her husband. Florence's strong faith has allowed her to peacefully join her husband.
