Forrist E. McCaslin
1919 – 2014

West Springfield – Forrist E. "GG" (Hobson) McCaslin, 95, entered eternal rest Tuesday, July 1, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Norfolk, VA., the daughter of the late John and Catherine Hobson. Forrist was predeceased by her loving husband Robert M. McCaslin, her daughter Joan G. Sanok, her son Richard F. McCaslin Sr., and her son-in-law Duane P. Whitney. She is survived by her daughter Jeanne M. Whitney, her son Glenn R. McCaslin and his wife Margie, her daughter-in-law Christine L. McCaslin and son-in-law Robert Sanok. She also leaves eight grandchildren David and Timothy Sanok, Cindy Leandro, Christine Thorn, Richard McCaslin Jr., Beth Skrobanski, Carol Hubbard and Denise Hannoush; nineteen grandchildren and a great great grandson. April of this year, her entire loving family celebrated Forrist's 95th birthday. A private funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in Pine Grove Cemetery in Matamoras, PA. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
