Frances June (Champagne) Mokrzecki was born on July 4, 1942 at Wesson Women's Hospital in Springfield, Mass to Enis and Peter Champagne. She passed away on June 9th at Pioneer Valley Rehab in South Hadley after a valiant battle with Dementia. Frances was married to Charles Mokrzecki for 60 years. She leaves behind her two daughters Lisa Davis of West Springfield and Christine Champagne of New York and her only beloved grandchild Paige Davis. She also leaves behind her sister Nancy Champagne and brother Bobby Champagne. Her sister Deanna passed away in 2018 from the same disease. Frances worked at Providence Hospital as a nutritionist for 35 years. We all know she will NEVER eat butter and it should be banned. Frances will be remembered as a book worm who loved puzzles and scrabble. We joke she liked to complain a lot. We are sure she has gone to heaven, but may find it too cold or too hot and does not like the food. Or something of the sort. ❤️ A Graveside Service will be held TUES at 1PM in St. Thomas Cemetery, Kings Highway, W. Spfld. The Curran-Jones Funeral Home are handling the arrangements.
