Frances C. Streator, 83, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 8, 2017 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Brooklyn, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Ella (Stout) Streator.  Frances was a beloved Springfield Public School teacher at Washington and Alice B. Beal schools until her retirement.  She was a graduate of Winthrop University in South Carolina and did her post graduate degree at City University of New York and Syracuse (NY) University. Fran enjoyed golfing with friends and she was a former active member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. She leaves to cherish her memory her beloved godson, Russ Bodenhorn and family of New Hyde Park, NY, and lifetime friend, Betty Macfie of Charlotte, NC. Great neighbors and friends, Don and Dawn Rivest and their daughter, Ceciley and longtime friend, Linda Wisen all of Feeding Hills.  There are no calling hours.  There will be a private service in Springfield Street Cemetery.  The AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME is in charge.
