Francis A. Connor Jr.1942 – 2026

Francis A. Connor Jr., 84, passed away peacefully October 9, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Springfield, he was the son of the late Francis and Barbara Connor. He grew up in Agawam, after graduating in 1959, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy and then pursued a lifelong career in the automobile business. Family was the heart of Fran’s life, spending treasured times on Cape Cod. He also found joy in cooking and entertaining for family and friends. He was a member of the Nashua Sportsman Club where he joyfully played Santa for over 30 years. Predeceased by his beloved wife Grace and his brother Michael Connor. Fran leaves behind his son Fran Connor and wife Karen, daughter Gina Bouniconti and her partner Timothy Ayer, fiancé Linda Crespi, his brother Vincent Connor, grandchildren: Zachary Connor (Jill), Nico Connor (Meghan), Karli Connor, Jamie Bouniconti, and Stephen Bouniconti (Kristin). He is also survived by four great-grandchildren: Tessa, Luca, Vince, and Layton. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home, Monday, October 19th beginning at 10:30am and concluding with a funeral home service at 12:30pm followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery.
