Springfield - Francis P. Lavigne, 63, of Corona Street died January 25, 2013 in Mercy Hospital. Francis was born in Spirngfield the son of Francis C. and Shirley (Lamire) Lavigne. He has lived in Springfield his entire life and worked as a truck driver. Francis served with the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He leaves a son Nicholas of Springfield; a daughter Cariann Vasquez of Florida; his mother Shirley (Bushey) Lavigne; four grandsons and many brohters and sisters. The commital service was held in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
