SPRINGFIELD – Francisco Reyes, 72, of Woodmont Street died Monday at home surrounded by his loving family. Francisco was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in Springfield for the past 52 years. He worked as a machine operator for Diamond Match Company for 20 years and retired in 2004 from National Metal Company after 15 years. He leaves his wife of 49 years Juanna Gonzalez; five daughters, three sons; three sisters, thirteen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday at 9am with Liturgy in Blessed Sacrament Church at 10am followed by burial in Oak Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Thursday from 4-7pm.
