Franklin E. Stoll, 88, of The Villages, FL passed away November 18, 2022. A lifelong resident of Agawam prior to moving to The Villages, Frank was a member of the 1952 AHS Georgia Peanut Bowl championship football team. He attended Agawam Schools and Westfield State College. He was employed at Kidder-Stacy, Kohl-Morgan, and owned the Dairy Mart store in Feeding Hills. He was a Staff Sargent in the Yankee Division of The Agawam National Guard from 1952-1961. He enjoyed camping and hiking with his family. He was the Cub Scout Leader of Pack 89 in Agawam where he and his son Douglas enjoyed many camping and canoeing trips. He taught his children, Darlene, Douglas and Kimberly, to ski at the Blandford Country Club and loved to ski at Killington Mountain. Frank loved sailing his sailboat Stress-Aweigh, anchored in Pilot's Point Marina in Westbrook, CT, in Long Island Sound. An avid golfer, he was a Senior Men's Champion at Southwick Country Club and enjoyed golfing with his grandsons. He and his wife Joyce were members of the Estero Island Beach Club in Fort Myers Beach, FL for many years where they made great memories with their Western Massachusetts Friends. Frank and his wife Joyce retired to The Villages in 2012 where they made wonderful new friends in their Islawild neighborhood, and Frank golfed to his heart's content! He was the son of the late Erwin and Emma (Maier) Stoll and brother of the late Lucille Stoll Scott. He leaves his wife of 64 years, Joyce (Whelan) Stoll; his daughters, Darlene Stoll and Kimberly Stoll Koch; and his son, Douglas Stoll. He also leaves 4 grandchildren: Alexandra Stoll Barlock, Phillip Koch, Anthony Koch, and Emma Stoll. The funeral will be Monday at 11am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery in Springfield.
