Freda M. Seymour

1925 – 2019

FEEDING HILLS – Freda M. (Westcott) Seymour, 94, of Memorial Drive died Saturday surrounded by her loving family.  Freda was born in Springfield, daughter of the late John and Freda (Stebbins) Westcott.  She grew up in Springfield before moving to Agawam in 1955.  Freda worked for Depalma School Bus Company for 22 years as a School Bus Driver.  A communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills, she was a longtime member of the Rosary Altar Society.  Her husband George F. Seymour Sr. died in 2017.  She leaves three sons Paul and his wife Sandy, Glenn Seymour and George F. Seymour Jr. and his wife Betty.; a daughter Michele Jarvis and her husband David; a sister Eleanor McCleod; a sister-in-law Marion Stebbins; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.  Besides her husband Freda was predeceased by her sisters Mary Bohemier, Ruth Giuliano, Mabel LaBonte and brother John Westcott Jr.  Visiting Hours will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday morning from 10:00am-11:30am followed by Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church at Noon.  The burial will be in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
