Gail L. (Whitaker) Krawczynski, 70, died Friday May 29th at Mercy Hospital. She was born in Springfield August 12, 1949. She graduated from Northampton Junior College and worked as a bookkeeper for Standard Paint and Wallpaper and later for the Town of Suffield, CT in the school department. Gail would have conversations with people she met throughout her day. Her friendly smile and quick wit were her greatest assets. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. We wish to thank the Doctors, nurses and support staff at the ICU of Mercy Hospital. She was predeceased by her husband Donald J. Krawczynski and her parents Harold and Elizabeth Whitaker. She leaves her son Patrick J. "PJ" Krawczynski, her brother Kim Whitaker and his wife Kym, her sister Lorrie Cotton and her husband Jack and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The graveside service for Don and Gail will be Saturday June 6th at 1pm at Paucatuck Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Children.
