SOUTH HADLEY- Gary J. Steglinski, 65, died unexpectedly Saturday May 19th at home. He was born in Westrhauderfehn Germany, came to America at age 3 and grew up in Westfield. He was a graduate of Westfield Trade School and served in the Army as a Medical Corpsman during the Vietnam Conflict. He worked for Bay Sate Gas Company, Hawkeye Construction and the Westover Jobs Corps. He leaves two sons Scott of Agawam and Todd of West Springfield, a sister Donna Regnier of Westfield, a brother John of Texas and a grandson Cooper. The committal service will be Thursday at 3 pm at the MA Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Agawam. No calling hours. For online condolences, please visit curranjones.com.
