Gary R. Turnbull, 71, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 24, 2025 at home. Born in Worcester, son of the late Robert and Marilyn (Kirswell) Turnbull, he grew up in Worcester and was a graduate of Springfield Technical High School.  Gary was a self-employed electrical contractor for twenty-five years and the owner of Turnbull Electric.  Previously he worked for Baystate Medical Center for twenty-eight years as the head of the electrical department.  He was also the Electrical Inspector for the Town of Agawam.  He was a member of the Mawaga Club, the Hampden County Farm Bureau, the 4H Club, the Massachusetts Electrical Inspectors, the Hampden County Improvement League, the advisory board of the Westfield Trade School and always loved to work alongside with his son Derrick at Autumn Mist Farm. He leaves his wife of forty-nine years, Donna L. (Kurtz) Turnbull, a son, Derrick M. Turnbull and his fiancéé, Tracy Allen of Feeding Hills, a daughter, Katie L. Coffin of Suffield, two brothers, Robert Turnbull of Atlanta, GA, Brian Turnbull of Worcester, a step-brother, Chad Turnbull of Frost Proof, FL, a sister, Robin Bleecker of Revere, his step-mother, Cheri Turnbull of Feeding Hills, three grandchildren, Tyler Coffin, Bailey Howard, Autumn Turnbull and many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and so many close friends.  Calling hours are Wednesday, October 1, 2025 from 4-7pm at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by a Funeral Home Service at 7pm. The burial is private.
