Genevieve S. (Borek) Williams, 94, died Thursday at Loomis House, Holyoke. She was born in Chicopee on October 17, 1921, the daughter of the late Thomas and Bertha Borek. She grew up in Chicopee and graduated from Chicopee High School. She was predeceased by her sister Sophie Pinkos and her sister Lena Zdon. She leaves her beloved husband James Williams of West Springfield, her sons James and Anthony Williams and her nieces Delores Midura of San Francisco, CA, Jackie Hope of FL and Jean Rinaldi of South Hadley. She will be missed by her sister-in-law Rita Hoertz and nephew Dick Crowley and his wife Pat of Sebring, FL. She also leaves several great nieces and nephews as well as great-great nieces and a great-great nephew. She was a communicant of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church, West Springfield. The family wishes to thank Loomis House Holyoke & Hospice Life Care of Holyoke. The funeral will be Wednesday at West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home starting with a calling hour from 10 to 11 am.
