George A. Mabb

George A. Mabb, 78, died Saturday at the Soldier's Home in Holyoke. He was born in Agawam and has lived in West Springfield most of his life. He worked at the former Cotton's Mobil and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He leaves two sons George Mabb Jr. and Daniel Mabb, three sisters Martha Lofland, Theresa Stewart and Susan McKenzie, brother Robert Mabb, step-daughter Dalynn Roberts, 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother Elmer Mabb and sisters Mary Holcome, Patricia Belden and Florence Gilmour. The graveside service will be Thursday at 1 pm at St. Thomas cemetery. No calling hours. West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial donations may be made to the Soldier's Home in Holyoke, 110 Cherry St. Holyoke, MA 01040.
