Germaine M. Brouillard
1916 – 2011

AGAWAM – Germaine M. (Lague) Brouillard, 94 of Cardinal Drive died Sunday in a local nursing home. Germaine was born in North Troy, Vermont and lived in Springfield most of her life. She had lived in Barefoot Bay, Florida for 20 years before returning to Agawam 10 years ago. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. Germaine loved her family and friends and enjoyed hosting holidays and family celebrations over the years. She loved to knit and crochet making and donating hundreds of lap blankets during her lifetime. Her husband Henry H. Brouillard, the love of her life, died in 2003. She leaves four children Raymond and his wife Anne Marie of Holyoke, Pauline Mantooth and her husband John of Garland, TX, Andre and his wife Maureen of Avon, CT, and Richard and his wife Patricia of Feeding Hills. She also leaves a brother Roger Lague of Newport, VT; sister Mariette Prunier of Worcester; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 10:00am with Liturgy in Sacred Heart Church, Feeding Hills at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Aloysius Cemetery.
