Giancarlo L. Morales

Springfield – Giancarlo Lee Morales, 20, died Thursday morning as a result of an automobile accident. Gianni was born in Springfield, son of Carlos and Madelyn (Rivera) Morales.  He was a 2018 graduate of the High School of Science and Technology and was working in the inventory department at C& S Wholesalers.  Besides his parents, Giancarlo leaves a sister Karina Morales; his grandparents Brunilda Rivera and Anderson Torres (maternal) and Marilyn Morales, Hector Laboy and Perfecto Morales (paternal) and many dear friends and loved ones.  In his brief but full life he participated in both baseball and basketball, with his father as his coach and mentor.  Gianni was a gift to his family that, besides sports, loved the color red and his little sister Karina.  Gianni is remembered by all as a sweet and loving soul, always willing to help anyone that needed anything, with a beautiful and sweet nature, he will be missed by all who knew him, and remembered always.  Gianni we loved you yesterday more than we do today and we'll love you more tomorrow.  A private funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home and a public service will be held at a later date.  For more details and online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
