FEEDING HILLS – Gisele R. (Veilleux) Lamoureux, 92, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014 at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in North Troy, VT, daughter of the late Joseph and Albertine (Lessard) Veilleux, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Newport, VT. She lived in East Springfield before moving to Agawam in 1967. Gisele had worked for over twenty years for the former Ken Paige Company. She enjoyed gardening and skiing. She loved to laugh, had a quick smile and loved children. She was also a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Church. Her husband, Ephrem A. Lamoureux died in 1965. She leaves four sons, Philip A. Lamoureux, Andre L. "Pete" Lamoureux, James G. Lamoureux, Sr., all of Springfield, Marc J. Lamoureux of Agawam, four daughters, Jane L. Hansher of Johnstown, CO, Denise M. Wood of Hampden, Cecile Y. Richard of Springfield, Annamarie T. Mason-LeClerc of Agawam, twenty-five grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Monday at 9am from the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 745 Cooper Street with a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10. The burial will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday from 2-5pm.
