Gloria (Manarite) Saville, 95, passed away peacefully at home with her family and dog Lucy by her side. May 15, 2024. She was born September 11, 1928 to the late Joseph and Adele (Pethitory) Manarite. Gloria worked at New England Telephone & Telegraph for 37 years, retiring as supervisor of long distance. She loved her yard and garden. She would love it when people would lean over her fence and take photos of her flowers. Gloria received many awards for her yard. Her tomatoes and veggies were the sweetest around and she loved to share them with family and friends. Gloria was an active volunteer in the community. She loved to volunteer for one of former Sheriff Ashe's priorities, taking children 6 months to 16 years to visit their mothers at Framingham House of Corrections. Gloria would also volunteer at area churches, her last being the Ecumenical Council of Churches where they served breakfast and dinners twice a month to all and anyone. Besides her parents, Gloria was predeceased by her husband Anthony G. Saville Sr., and by her siblings; Marie, Josephine, Elizabeth (Betty), Anna, Alice, Francis, Paul, John and Albert. She leaves the love of her life, her son, Anthony G. Saville Jr., and his companion Mary Cappiello, her numerous nieces and nephews, sorry Jimbo you will have to find a new partner to gamble with, her two best friends Emily Bontempo of White Horse Beach, MA and Sandra J of Agawam. Funeral Services will be held TUESDAY 11 AM at the CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME, 109 MAIN ST., W. SPFLD. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery, Kings Hwy.
