Gloria May (Poggi) Stowe, 94, entered into eternal rest on Monday, May 29, 2023.  Born in Springfield, MA, on June 29, 1928,  daughter of the late Angelo and Caroline E (Taffurelli) Poggi, she was a 1946 graduate of Agawam High School. She lived in Agawam most of her life and was a customer service representative for many years for the former Bradlee's Department Store in West Springfield.  Gloria's greatest joy was spending time with her family. Her husband, Lawrence Arthur Stowe died in 1990.  She leaves two sons, Gary L. Stowe of Feeding Hills, MA, Barry L. Stowe of Boise, ID, a sister and her husband, Patricia "Patti" and Robert Bradbury of Fort White, FL, her former daughter-in-law, Barbara Lantz of Feeding Hills, two grandsons, Michael and his wife Sara Stowe of Meridian, ID, Eric Stowe and his fiancé, Shaylyn Jurczyk of Forest Grove, OR, two great-granddaughters, Ella Rose Stowe, Oakley Esme Stowe, and four nephews, Mark Poggi of West Springfield, Dean Poggi of Agawam, MA, Robbie Bradbury and Kevin Bradbury.  She was predeceased by a brother, Donald Poggi and a nephew, Keith Bradbury.  A graveside service will be held in Springfield Street Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
