Grace M. Baron

1921 – 2017

West Springfield – Grace M. (Doty) Cleveland Baron, 96, of Prospect Avenue passed away Saturday surrounded by family.  Grace was born in Springfield and has been a lifelong resident of West Springfield.  She was very active and a longtime member of the former Tabernacle Baptist Church, now Life Point Church in Chicopee.  Her first husband Ralph Cleveland died in 1983 and second husband Stanley Baron died in 2007.  She leaves four children John Cleveland, R. Dean Cleveland Jr., Scott Cleveland and Carol Cleveland; step-daughter Mary McPeters and step-son Paul Baron; a brother Robert R. Doty; nine grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.  A graveside service will be held in Brookside Cemetery in Easthampton and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hospice of Western Mass, 1325 Springfield Street, Feeding Hills, MA 01030.
