WEST SPRINGFIELD – Gregory J. Dargie, 59, died on Monday after fighting a courageous battle with cancer, at Wingate Wilbraham surrounded by his family. Gregory was born in Springfield and graduated from Classical High School in 1978. Gregory worked several different jobs throughout his lifetime. He loved spending time at his family home in Otis and was an avid animal lover, especially his fur baby nieces and nephews. Gregory is predeceased by his mother Shirley. He is survived by his father Everett of Westfield, brother Matthew and sister in law Lisa of Wilbraham and brother Bryan and wife Marise of Westfield. He also leaves his nieces and nephews; Alyse Bynaker and her husband David of Orlando, FL, Ellen Schrantz and her husband Leo of Arlington, VA, Eric Dargie of Westfield and Sydney Dargie of Wilbraham.
