Gregory W.
Hauber
September 22, 1954 – February 23, 2020
With great sadness I lost my husband, Greg, on February 23 to a devastating disease called Frontotemporal Dementia. He passed surrounded by his loving wife and children and his dog Jack. He fought this very long battle with grace never losing his sense of humor. Greg will forever be missed by his devoted wife Lisa, who never left his side during his long battle with AFTD and by his children, Todd (Emily), Benjamin (Natalie), Ellyn(Tim), and Mary (Brianna), and grandchildren, Palmer, Hayes, Holden, Kenny, Sadie, Zelda and Skylynn. He will also be missed by his brother Paul Hauber, and sisters Nancy Bedwell (Ed) Pamela Hauber (Steve West) and Beth Stewart (Ed), his Stepsons, Justin Sibilia, Derick Sibilia and David French, and his brother and sisters in law Nicholas and Joyce Bazzano, and Lonnie Bazzano and many nieces, nephews and friends, especially Billy and Elaine Meara. Greg was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. He was predeceased by his mother Jean and his father William Hauber and his brother in law Robert Bazzano. Greg had a strong work ethic loving his work in the graphic arts pre press for packaging business. He was the President of the national FPPA. Gregs' loves included his horses as a young man and later golfing at Springfield Country Club, driving his Porsche and being a member of the Porsche Club of America, CT Chapter and the Jaguar Association of New England and traveling. Special thanks to Pioneer Valley Healthcare Services and Anne Marie Ferraro and all her dedicated staff who were committed to his comfort in his final year. In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his memory to THEAFTD.org. The funeral Mass will be Thursday March 5 th at 11 am in Sacred Heart Church, Springfield. Calling hours at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home will be Wednesday March 4 th from 4:00 to 7:00pm. For more information, please go to curranjones.com.
