1933 – 2012

AGAWAM – Harold J. Theriaque, 78, of Cooper Street died Wednesday in a local nursing home. Harold was born in Chicopee, one of sixteen children to Luis and Frances (Warren) Theriaque. He lived in West Springfield most of his life before moving to Agawam 7 years ago. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the American Legion and Verdi Club. He leaves his former wife Vivian (Zambelli) Moulton; six children Harold Joseph Jr., Mathew, Davina, Michele Beauregard and her husband James, Melanie LeBorgne and Paula Murphy and her husband John. He also leaves his siblings Thomas, Wayne, Dorothy, Lillian, Ruth, Charlotte and Frances; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Harold was predeceased by a son Raymond and his siblings Richard, Luis, Raymond, Arthur, Kenneth, Mary, Helen and Rena. The family would like to thank the staff of Heritage Hall East C Wing for the outstanding care given to Harold over the years. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Sunday at 6:30pm. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral on Sunday from 4:00 – 6:30pm.
