Harriett E. Guerin

1929 – 2021

West Springfield – Harriett E. (Slocum) Guerin, 91, died Tuesday morning in Baystate Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  Harriett was born in Brattleboro, VT the daughter of the late Sherman and Lydia (Grant) Slocum and has lived in West Springfield since 1980.  A loving and devoted mother, Harriett loved being with family.  She spent most of her time taking care of grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her husband Alfred, son Reginald and two daughters Rose Plumadore and Linda Dutton.  She leaves her children Leonard and Ronnie Guerin and Nina Boissoneault; a sister Mary Conklin; seventeen grandchildren and many many great grandchildren.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday at 1:00pm followed by burial in St. Michael's Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service Friday from 11:30am – 1:00pm.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to Griffin's Friends, c/o Baystate Medical Center, 280 Chestnut Street, Springfield 01199.
