SPRINGFIELD – Harriette W. (Frisbie) Gossman, 90, of Powell Avenue died Saturday in Mercy Hospital. Harriette was born and raised in Westfield and has lived in Springfield most of her life. Her husband William J. Gossman Sr. died in 2003. She leaves two sons William J. Gossman Jr. and his wife Patricia of Brimfield and David P. Gossman of Springfield. She also leaves two grandchildren, Suzanne Gossman of Southwick and Thomas Gossman of Southbridge and five great grandchildren. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Wednesday at 12:00 Noon followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
