Helen Reardon

1926 – 2019

West Springfield – Helen (Soyka) Reardon, 93, of West Springfield died peacefully Thursday morning at home surrounded by her loving family.   Helen was born in Toronto and grew up in Springfield.  She lived in Hazardville, CT and West Springfield most of her life. She was retired Bookkeeper for Western Bronze for many years.  Helen was a longtime communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church in West Springfield.  She was predeceased by her husband Richard Reardon Sr.  and a son Richard Reardon Jr.  She leaves her son William Reardon and his girlfriend Alice; sister Olga Jackson; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.  Besides her husband and son, Helen was also predeceased by two sisters Mary Jackson and Tillie Nowak.  A graveside service will be held in St. Thomas Cemetery at the convenience of the family.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to Baystate Hospice and VNA.
