Helen A. (Juskialis) Scamardella, 86, passed away November 17, 2015 at Baystate Medical Center after suffering a major stroke. A native of Springfield MA, she is survived by her son Joseph of Medway MA and her daughter Susan of Westfield MA. The CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME of South Hadley is in charge of arrangements. There are no calling hours and burial will take place at the convenience of the family. If desired, friends can make memorial donations in Helen's name to the National Stroke Association (www.stroke.org) which aids public education of strokes and stroke prevention.
