HELEN WEINER , formerly of Holyoke, MA passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at 100 years of age at NewBridge on the Charles, in Dedham, MA. She was the daughter of the late Minnie and Max Bernstein, and the loving wife of the late Mathias Weiner of 64 years. Helen was the beloved mother of Leslie Berman and her late husband Louis of Easton, MA and Zane Weiner and wife Barbara of Sewickley, PA. She was the loving grandmother of Rachel Colchamiro and her husband Dan and Steven Berman and his wife Laura and great grandmother of Jesse and Zoe Colchamiro and Jack and Joanna Berman.  She was the dear sister of the late Marvin Bernstein.

Helen was born in Holyoke, MA in 1922, where she lived for 90 years. She was a dedicated nurse at Holyoke Hospital and a consummate caregiver. She loved her family and she loved life.

The family only service and burial will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Rodphey Sholom Cemetery in Chicopee MA.

Memorial observance will be Wednesday 7-9, Thursday 7-9 and Friday from 1-3 pm at the home of Leslie Berman.

The family is particularly grateful to the NewBridge caregivers who treated our mother with love, compassion and respect.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hebrew Senior Life either on its website or at 1200 Center St., Roslindale MA 02131. Gifts will be allocated to NewBridge caregivers.
