Helene J. (Karaskiewicz) Granger, 54, died peacefully Wednesday surrounded by her family. A lifelong resident of West Springfield, she graduated from West Springfield High School in 1981. Helene worked as a branch manager for TD Bank for 20 years before teaching ballroom dance for 25 years. Most recently she was office manager for Fred Astaire Corporate. She loved dancing, sewing and home improvements. Helene leaves her husband Jerry Granger, her daughter Lee-Ann Granger of West Springfield, granddaughter Ashlyn Granger, her mother Irene (Kulig) Karaskiewicz of West Springfield, four sisters Rose Menard (Larry) of Somers, CT, Donna Simpson (Bruce) of Waynesville, MO, Joan Davidson (Scott) of Ware and Phyllis Lambros of Englishtown, NJ and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral home service will be Tuesday at 12:30 pm at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home. Calling hours are Monday 4:00 to 7:00 pm.
